Open Door Films began with a simple belief: the people who live and work in care homes deserve to be photographed and filmed with the same warmth and craft as any other subject worth celebrating. Too often, marketing in this sector leans on generic stock photography that could belong to any home, anywhere.
We set out to do things differently: spending real time on site, getting to know the rhythm of each home, and capturing the small, honest moments that show families exactly what makes a home special.

Hi, I'm Lewis.
Before Open Door Films, I worked across Channel 4, BT Sport and a run of social agencies, then spent years freelancing specifically within the care sector. I lead every project personally, briefing every shoot and editing every film myself, working alongside trusted, DBS-checked videographers and photographers to bring the same premium standards I learned at Channel 4 and BT Sport into every home we visit.
